Who is CT Rains?

We’re Carl and Tracey Rains, a husband and wife team from East Tennessee. We collaborate on content and work as editors for each other. T has recently retired from full time high school English teaching, and C is currently a middle school math teacher. (I know! Math? What was he thinking? No. Actually, I enjoy math as well.)

A variety of jobs throughout the years have brought us here to try our hands at finally pursuing our love of writing. We have worked as a drafter (C), a restaurant hostess (T), a salad preparer (C), an historical figure-reenactor (T), a projectionist (C), and wedding pianist (T).

Every place that C ever worked has not only closed, but been wiped from the face of the earth. Seriously! It appears that C is the death knell for employers.

On the web as well as in life, Carl is the quiet one–something no one ever said about me. I, Tracey or TC’s T, am the webmaster of our site and the “first person” you will most often come across.
